UK pharma commercial services company 4Sight has launched a conference division.

The Bracknell, UK-based firm’s Performance Meetings division will be headed up by marketing and events director Claudia Collingbourne.

She has over 20 years of business-to-business event organising experience across a number of pharma companies as well as experience in the aviation and automotive industries.

Collingbourne will be joined by Laura Young who has moved from within the group to become meetings manager. Laura previously worked at the Financial Times as event content manager where she was responsible for speaker recruitment and agenda production for awards ceremonies, webcasts, conferences and round-table meetings across Europe, Asia-Pacific and the US.

Laura brings with her strong skills in event management coupled with extensive experience in the planning and implementation of many of 4Sight’s evaluation and development programmes, including an on-going pan-European programme for two major pharma companies across 19 countries.

Ian Welburn, chairman of 4Sight Group, said: “Many of our pharmaceutical clients recognise it makes absolute sense to outsource event management to the company running their development programmes.

“Based on the growth of this part of our business, we’ve decided to formalise this into a separate division and with Claudia and Laura at the helm and all the experience they bring, we are well placed to offer our clients an outstanding service.
