Cartons
State-of-the-art presses print over two billion high quality cartons each year in a wide range of styles, constructional designs and graphical print finishes.

Specifications are driven by customer requirement, with printing onto different substrates and thicknesses of material and incorporating performance vanishes, security and tamper-evident features and Braille embossing where required.

Leaflets
Nampak Healthcare’s print facilities for leaflets incorporate state-of-the-art printing and folding technology to provide accurately folded, highquality leaflets for pack insertion on high-speed lines.

Leaflets are printed on both web and flat sheet offset litho presses and supplied to customers in three different formats: folded, flat and on-roll.

There’s also a comprehensive range of special products to meet individual customer requirements including outserts, spot glued leaflets, tagserts, security leaflets and sachet
leaflets.

Nampak Healthcare understands the challenge of constantly changing legislative demands. To meet these requirements, there have been recent investments in state-of-the-art technology to produce large format leaflets which can provide the level of detail required, for patients and doctors and in multiple languages for different countries.

Nampak Healthcare’s Newmarket manufacturing facility can now produce B2 leaflets (maximum width 520mm x maximum length 720mm) effectively doubling the sheet
size and the latest folding technology can deliver finished leaflets to a size that is within
machine and customer capabilities.

Innovative leaflet formats include the new PiggyBack™ design which comprises two leaflets, folded to a compact size and then glued together. This gives twice the space for medical and patient information in a legible typeface size.

Labels
Labels can be produced on a wide range of substrates for applying to different items such as bottles and syringes. Technical support ensures the right adhesive is selected for permanence, repositionability and tamper evidence. Additional customer application needs are met with specialist processes such as Braille printing, extra security slitting and over-laminating to prevent product contamination. Stringent systems result
in 100% control from origination to final production.

There’s also a total label reconciliation service, removing the need to count labels for specific lines or returning stock

Printed blister pack foils
Nampak Healthcare has a state-of-the-art Class 100,000 standard clean room for printing blister pack foils, offering six colour capability and the flexibility to print onto a range of different foils and thicknesses to meet individual customer specifications. Special requirements such as child resistance are also available.
